Tessa Hatfield, a metro-St. Louis native, discovered her love of writing on a whim that has never ebbed. She writes gushing yet playful romantic comedy with lovingly flawed characters, pulling inspiration from her former life as a professional dancer, her years spent as a wild Mizzou Tiger, and her love for creating art grounded in imperfect human reality. She is the recent winner of the Best Banter Contest for the Michigan Romance Writers, as banter is the crème fraîche of life and her personal love language.
When she isn’t crying over her laptop in a coffee shop (which is totally healthy) or smothering her sweet baby boys in kisses (which is always), she can be found working out aggression in Latin dance classes in majestic Colorado, where she lives with her husband and three children.
